Candaya - Music from the Otherwhere

The trio Candya invites you on a journey through musical imagery. Dreams, scenes, and moods are captured through violin or viola (Katharina Mlitz-Hussain), voice (Gemma Wagner), and the strings of the harp (Eva Toball). Instruments such as tanpura, monochord, nay, and glass harp expand the soundscape. Some pieces remain purely instrumental, while others unfold through sensitive and finely nuanced voice.

The repertoire includes self-composed pieces, sometimes slightly influenced by various cultures, as well as delicately selected songs from different countries.
Our program is suitable for concerts, readings, storytelling evenings, exhibition openings, events in clinics, and much more.
Candaya also offers a special program for meditative settings – music that touches the inner self and invites you to immerse in the present moment. Depending on your needs, this music program can be adapted to be either very calm or a little more moving. It is also suitable for yoga or inner silence concerts, for example.

Whether as a trio with vocals or an instrumental duo – we look forward to sharing special musical moments and taking our listeners on a deeply resonant and soulful journey.
